Data Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join our team at World Wide Technology. As a Data Scientist, you will be responsible for conducting end-to-end analysis, including data gathering and requirements specification, processing, analysis, ongoing deliverables, and presentations.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct advanced analytics in areas like deep learning and complex statistical data analysis
- Interact with clients to make business recommendations with effective presentations of findings and visual displays of quantitative information
- Support the development of analysis, forecasting, and optimization methods/models to provide business solutions to clients
- Research and develop internal capabilities to enhance skill sets on latest data science developments and produce innovative solutions to existing challenges
- 1-3 years of progressive experience in a related field
- Bachelor's or master's degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., statistics, computer science, economics, mathematics, physics, electrical engineering, industrial engineering)
- 1-3 years of relevant work experience in data analysis or a related field, including internships
- Experience with statistical software (e.g., R, Python) and database languages (e.g., SQL)
- Experience articulating business questions and using mathematical techniques to arrive at an answer using available data
- Experience translating analysis results into business recommendations
- Curiosity, humility, and openness to learn
- Demonstrated skills in selecting the right statistical tools given a data analysis problem
- Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated leadership and self-direction
