Senior Electrician

Hut 8 is a leading provider of data center services, specializing in next-generation computing workloads such as AI, colocation, cloud, and Bitcoin mining. We are expanding our infrastructure and seeking a highly skilled Master Electrician to join our team.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, codes, and safety procedures, with the ability to lead and supervise a team of electricians and technicians. This is a unique opportunity to work with a dynamic team, driving innovation and growth in the industry.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Oversee the installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems and components, including wiring, circuit breakers, outlets, and lighting systems.
2. Conduct regular inspections and tests to ensure system functionality and compliance with regulatory standards.
3. Develop and implement electrical project plans, including scheduling, budgeting, and coordination with other trades and contractors.
4. Ensure all work meets or exceeds local, state, and national electrical codes and regulations.
5. Lead and mentor a team of electricians, providing training and guidance on best practices and safety protocols.
6. Collaborate with operations staff and facility managers to optimize repairs and maintenance efforts.
7. Diagnose and resolve complex electrical issues in various settings.
8. Implement and enforce safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
9. Maintain accurate records of work performed, including inspections, repairs, and installations.
10. Provide on-call electrical support for all facilities, 24/7.

About You:

We are seeking an individual with a Master Electrician License, extensive electrical experience, and up-to-date certifications for the role. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with completion of an electrician program at a technical or trade school preferred. Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 per year.
