As a key member of our Ski Patrol team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our guests and staff on the mountain. This is a dynamic and challenging position that requires a high level of expertise, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Promote guest safety on varied terrain with varying winter weather conditions
- Assist injured/ill guests on the mountain and administer first aid
- Transport injured guests off the mountain using a toboggan or supporting air lift operations
- Maintain trails, including hazard identification and setting up closures and safety materials
- Transport supplies and heavy equipment to areas of need on skis/snowboard
- Perform closing procedures at the end of the day to ensure that all guests are safely off the mountain
- Enforce the Skier Responsibility Code and Resort Policies
- Chairlift and guest evacuation
- Other duties as assigned
- Pass resort Ski Patrol sponsored ski test
- Must be able to communicate fluently in English
- Must have excellent guest service skills
- Must be able to work in inclement weather in a mountain environment
- Competitive hourly rate of $23.26
- Full-time schedule
