Chemical Analyst

At KOSMOS, we are seeking a skilled Chemical Analyst to join our team in a direct hire opening with a full benefit package and relocation. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a well-established billion dollar company in the Evansville, Indiana area.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for subsequent analysis of all process control, raw material, environmental, industrial hygiene and final product samples utilizing prescribed procedures.

They will administer internal quality control practices required to ensure conformity of all sampling and subsequent analysis for verification of chemistry for all phases of plant materials by using complex analytical techniques.

The ideal candidate will provide chemical analyses to operating departments using various computerized instruments, or by use of wet/gravimetric techniques.

Additional responsibilities will include performing preventive maintenance on various types of instrumentation in the lab involving x-ray systems and other laboratory equipment.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, the candidate will need a Bachelor's Degree in a chemistry or equivalent combination of education and experience in a manufacturing lab.

They must have a history of building and sustaining good working relationships in a team environment, be achievement motivated and have a high energy level, effective planning and organizational skills, and effective communication skills (verbal, written, and listening).
