Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Material Handler I to join our team at TekWissen Group. As a Material Handler I, you will play a critical role in supporting the successful arrangement of delivery, assembly, and distribution of parts to expedite the flow of materials and meet production schedules.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Material Movement: Move parts from area to area by utilizing electric carts, forklifts, hand trucks, and carts to transport manufacturing orders and materials within the factory.
  • Inventory Management: Pull manufacturing orders and materials from stock, ensuring accurate and timely delivery to production teams.
  • Job Packet Creation: Create job packets with necessary documents for Production, Machine, and Paint shop teams.
  • Data Collection and Tracking: Collect, track, and verify data and information from multiple sources, utilizing software to compile, update, and review department reports, timelines, and presentations.
  • Process Improvement: Design processes and tools to enhance workflow and traceability of products and supplier deliverables, providing data and information to others on functional unit processes and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Technical Skills: Working knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office.
  • Experience: Preferred two years working in a similar role in a manufacturing environment.
  • Work Style: Entry-level job with little or no prior relevant experience, requiring close supervision and little autonomy.
