Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) solutions to enhance network security and ensure adherence to security protocols.
  • Oversee and maintain network security systems, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
  • Establish and enforce network access control policies and procedures.
  • Diagnose and resolve network security challenges, delivering prompt and effective solutions.
  • Perform security evaluations and vulnerability assessments to uncover and address potential threats.
  • Work collaboratively with various teams to formulate and apply security best practices.
  • Remain informed about emerging security threats, technologies, and industry developments to proactively mitigate risks.
  • Develop and sustain detailed documentation of network security setups, processes, and protocols.
  • Offer expert advice and support to clients and internal teams regarding network security issues.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in network security engineering, particularly with Cisco ISE.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Cisco ISE architecture, deployment, and management.
  • Familiarity with network security technologies such as firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and NAC.
  • Strong grasp of network protocols, routing, and switching.
  • Proficient in security assessment tools and methodologies.
  • Exceptional troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Relevant certifications such as CCNP Security, Cisco ISE Certification, or equivalent are highly preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with cloud security and hybrid network configurations.
  • Knowledge of security compliance standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, and GDPR.
  • Familiarity with automation and scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell).
  • Understanding of endpoint security solutions and strategies.
