Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Steward to become part of our team. You will play a vital role in ensuring a remarkable dining experience by managing the transportation and sanitation of cooking utensils and serviceware, while also assisting in the upkeep of clean workspaces and kitchen equipment.

Your ability to handle multiple tasks effectively in a dynamic environment is essential. With a keen eye for detail, you are committed to delivering high-quality work and fostering a collaborative and positive team atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean pots, pans, and trays and ensure silverware is polished
• Sort and dispose of waste in designated receptacles
• Maintain cleanliness by sweeping and mopping floors; wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, and all other surfaces
• Assist in transferring supplies and equipment between storage and work areas; restock tools and supplies for the next shift
• Keep temperature logs and organize the walk-in cooler/freezer
• Support line cooks in properly preparing, storing, and dating food

Qualifications:

• Prior knowledge of food service regulations is preferred
• Proficient in using hand tools or machines required for the role
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced setting
• Capable of lifting, carrying, or pulling heavy objects
• Willing to stand for extended periods
• Skilled in prioritizing, organizing, and managing multiple tasks
