We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Technologist to join our team at OhioHealth. As a Medical Laboratory Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing accurate and timely patient test results for the diagnosis and management of human illness.
Key Responsibilities- Perform accurate, precise, and timely patient test results using automation, computerization, and manual methods.
- Utilize quality control and instrument operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal laboratory performance.
- Work with a team of healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care and support.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest laboratory techniques and technologies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Associate's Degree in Applied Sciences or related field.
- MLT (ASCP) certification or eligibility for certification.
- 2 years of experience in a laboratory setting, including MLT internship or formal military experience.
- Successful completion of the Board of Registry examination of the American Society of Clinical Pathologists.
This is a full-time, evening shift position in our Core Lab. If you are a motivated and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care, we encourage you to apply.
