Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our patient care team. As a Dental Assistant at UDA, you will play a vital role in facilitating treatment and care for our patients. You will work closely with our experienced dentists to prepare operatories, run sterilization, and assist with patient education.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare operatories for patients and maintain a clean and organized environment
  • Run sterilization and ensure proper infection control procedures
  • Assist the provider during treatment and support patient education
  • Maintain thorough patient records and assist with administrative tasks
Requirements
  • Completion of a one-year certified dental assistant program or six months on-the-job experience with supporting documentation
  • Dental Assistant certification and X-Ray certification
  • Nitrous Oxide certification is highly recommended
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds at times
