Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled OB/GYN Hospitalist to join our team at Ascension Saint Agnes in Baltimore, Maryland. As a key member of our medical staff, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with appropriate medical diagnostic and treatment skills, coordinating discharge planning with case management, and participating in academic programs as requested.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and treat patients with appropriate medical diagnostic and treatment skills.
  • Coordinate discharge planning with case management.
  • Participate in academic programs, such as medical education and research, as requested.
  • Provide appropriate documentation that meets insurance company requirements and appeal all denials in a timely manner.
  • Participate in inpatient and outpatient consultation for specialty, which may include on-call schedules.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree and be credentialed by the Maryland Board of Physicians. Advanced Life Support certification from the American Heart Association is preferred.
