Job Summary

Nash Community College is seeking a highly skilled Grants Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating grant proposals, ensuring compliance with funding requirements, and managing grant budgets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Grant Management: Oversee the lifecycle of grant-funded projects from proposal development through to project completion, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and institutional regulations.
  • Proposal Development: Assist faculty and staff in identifying funding opportunities, preparing grant proposals, and developing budgets, providing guidance on proposal writing and submission processes.
  • Compliance and Reporting: Monitor and ensure adherence to grant requirements and regulations, preparing and submitting periodic financial and performance reports to funders.
  • Budget Oversight: Manage grant budgets, including monitoring expenditures, preparing financial reports, and ensuring proper documentation of financial transactions.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of grant activities, financial documents, and correspondence with funders.
  • Training and Support: Provide training and support to NCC staff on grant administration policies and procedures, acting as a liaison between the college and funding agencies.
  • Communication: Develop and maintain positive relationships with funders, stakeholders, and college departments, communicating grant requirements and updates effectively.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Nonprofit Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in grants administration, including experience with federal and state grant programs.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of grant writing, financial management, and compliance regulations, excellent organizational and project management skills, and proficiency in using grant management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
