GENERAL OVERVIEW
The households at Mozaic Senior Life (MSL) are guided by a dedicated team comprising a Clinical Nurse Leader (RN), a Household Coordinator (non-clinical leader), and a Lead Homemaker. This collaborative leadership structure is designed to foster a nurturing environment that emphasizes community, family, and the well-being of Residents, ensuring they receive the highest standard of care and quality of life within a household model.

Residents benefit from a committed team of household staff who work together to create an atmosphere that promotes personal development and job satisfaction. The Clinical Nurse Leaders and Household Coordinators participate in a Neighborhood Council, which provides guidance and support to all households under the direction of the Vice President of Nursing and the Administrator.

ROLE OF THE CLINICAL NURSE LEADER
The Clinical Nurse Leader is responsible for delivering nursing care in accordance with the standards set by the State of Connecticut. This role involves providing comprehensive nursing services to household Residents, aligning with the Core Values of Jewish Senior Services while adhering to the responsibilities associated with the RN/LPN designation. The Clinical Nurse Leader is accountable for the overall quality of care delivered and plays a crucial role in supporting the household team to maintain high standards of care and enhance the quality of life for Residents.

Work Schedule: 3rd Shift, 22 hours per week

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Requirements:

  • Education: Graduate from an accredited nursing program
  • Experience: Preferred 1+ years of clinical experience in a long-term care environment
  • Licensure: Valid RN license in the State of Connecticut, along with CPR certification
