About the Job:
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Porter and Janitor to join our team at SECUR IT GUARD INC.

This role offers an estimated annual salary of $35,000 - $45,000, depending on experience and qualifications.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in janitorial services, including experience with cleaning equipment and supplies. They will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of our properties, including performing daily cleaning tasks and ensuring a safe working environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Clean and disinfect assigned areas, including restrooms, common areas, and offices.
  • Maintain all equipment and supplies in proper condition, assist with inventory management, and ensure janitor closets are clean and organized.
  • Dispose of trash and recyclables, and maintain a safe working environment by adhering to health and safety standards, laws, policies, and rules.
  • Perform light maintenance tasks, including repairing minor issues and replacing broken equipment.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in janitorial services, including knowledge of cleaning chemicals and personal protective equipment.
  • Experience with light maintenance tasks a plus.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Able to lift, carry, or push items weighing up to 30 pounds regularly.
  • Reliable transportation and proof of a valid California Driver's License and current insurance required.
