Job Summary

Under the direction of the director/charge person, the RN utilizes the nursing process, facilitates patient care, making nursing assessments and diagnosis, formulates care plans based on the diagnosis, and implements and evaluates the plan of care specific to Cardiac Catherization Lab patients.

Responsible for the environment of care according to Joint Commission Standards. Responsible for the nursing care of the pre and post Cardiac Catherization Lab patient.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care.
  • Make nursing assessments and diagnosis.
  • Formulate care plans based on diagnosis.
  • Implement and evaluate the plan of care.
  • Responsible for the environment of care according to Joint Commission Standards.
  • Responsible for the nursing care of the pre and post Cardiac Catherization Lab patient.

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or Higher in Nursing.
  • Florida Registered Nurse License.
  • BLS.
  • ACLS.
  • Cardiovascular/Procedural Experience Required.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
