Rutgers University is seeking a part-time Mental Health Clinician II for the Acute Children Department within Rutgers University Behavioral Health Care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide lead functions for the program, including screening of intakes and referrals, care coordination, and ensuring completion of program-specific documentation.
- Develop and implement treatment plans, conduct individual, group, and family therapy, and provide case management services.
- Assist with the provision of clinical supervision to licensing candidates as assigned.
- Collaborate with individuals served, their families, and support systems to develop achievable and understandable recovery and/or treatment plans.
- Manage caseload and terminations effectively and in a timely manner, while considering both quality of care and agency needs.
- Maintain and oversee the maintenance of assigned individuals' clinical records in compliance with UBHC, The Joint Commission, and other applicable regulatory and accreditation standards.
- Master's Degree in a mental health discipline plus two (2) years post-Master's experience in the mental health field, including delivering psychotherapeutic services to the identified population, or a Doctorate Degree.
- Independent license to practice as required by New Jersey state laws governing the discipline (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, LCADC, Licensed Psychologist).
