We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Veterinary Technician to join our team at the Animal Wellness Center. As a key member of our veterinary team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support to our veterinarians and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Effective communication with clients and team members
- Client education and counseling
- Safe handling and restraint of animals
- Obtaining vital signs and medical history
- Venipuncture and intravenous catheter placement
- Administering medications and monitoring anesthesia
- Surgical assistance and laboratory testing
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience in a veterinary setting
- Completion of an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technology program
- Current Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) certification
