Job Title: Direct Service Provider I

At The ARC Los Angeles and Orange Counties, we are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Direct Service Provider I to join our team. As a Direct Service Provider I, you will play a vital role in providing support and services to individuals with developmental disabilities.

Job Summary

The Direct Service Provider I will be responsible for providing daily support and services to participants, including social and community activities, to enhance their quality of life. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide daily support and services to participants, including social and community activities.
  • Encourage participants to engage in activities that promote their individual goals and interests.
  • Complete documentation, including daily logs, incident reports, and attendance logs.
  • Promote community integration by arranging outings, field trips, and special events.
  • Attend departmental staff meetings and training sessions.
  • Perform additional tasks and duties as assigned.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Current Red Cross First Aid Certificate and CPR Certificate.
  • Fluency in speaking, reading, and writing in English; Spanish is preferred.
  • Minimum 6 months of experience in a related field.
Work Schedule and Compensation

This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm, with some weekends or evening shifts as needed. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including health, vision, and dental insurance, as well as a 403B plan with employer matching.
