Pharmacy Technician

Job Description:

As a Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  
• Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  
• Operate pharmacy systems, including cash registers and inventory management software, to process prescriptions and manage inventory.
  
• Participate in ongoing training and education to maintain certification and stay up-to-date on the latest pharmacy practices and technologies.
  
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff to ensure efficient workflow and maintain a clean and organized pharmacy environment.
  

Requirements:

• 
  
• High school diploma or equivalent required; PTCB certification preferred.
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  
• Basic math skills and ability to accurately count, measure, and weigh medications.
  
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
