We are seeking a skilled Travel Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at NHC. As a Travel LPN, you will provide quality patient care and perform technical skilled care in the patient's home. This role requires a strong understanding of nursing procedures and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities:
Provide technical care to patients, including administering medications and performing procedures as prescribed by a physician.
Observe, record, and report all observations of the patient's mental and physical care provided in progress notes.
Participate as an IDT team member and assist home health aides in performance of their duties.
Must be willing to travel to other offices and participate in on-call rotations.
Qualifications:
Must be licensed in the agency state of operation.
Must have a complete knowledge of technical skills required in the performance of nursing procedures with at least one (1) year of nursing experience.
Must successfully complete on-site evaluations and competencies within ninety (90) days of employment and bi-annually thereafter.
