Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of associates in providing reimbursement and access support for patient access to our client's products.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve operational performance and ensure compliance with established service levels and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Director and other internal stakeholders to provide program updates, regular team reporting, and address client issues within assigned geography.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to team members to develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Manage monthly budget and expenses for the team within defined geography.
  • Ensure quality and compliance within the team by implementing and monitoring processes to track quality and program compliance.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in a medical practice, private or third-party reimbursement arena, or pharmaceutical industry in sales, managed care, or clinical support.
  • Advanced degree preferred.
  • Ability to lead, manage, mentor, coach, and develop others.
  • Technical knowledge and experience with revenue cycle, reimbursement billing, coding, and appeals process.
  • Knowledge of private payer, Medicare, and Medicaid structure, systems, and reimbursement and access processes.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data, regulation, and legislation.
  • Project management skills and experience leading the design and development of specific projects.
