Position Overview:

The Project Coordinator and Engineer's primary role is to effectively assist in the tasks and functions for the project service, maintenance, and integration team.

The PM / PE will engage in detailed preliminary tasks for projects that do not have full-time PMs on-site.

These tasks will leverage the internal processes and procedures established for estimating, creating proposals, conducting risk assessments, managing billings, procurement, and generating work documents for field teams, including but not limited to (work drawings, SDS and data sheets, JSAs, work requests, schedules), tracking projects through pre-shipment phases, on-site evaluations, project plans, and project status reports.

Additionally, this role is responsible for delivering a broad spectrum of thermal solutions, engineering services, installation guidance, and operational support in an efficient, professional, and high-quality manner.

The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical, business, and sales expertise to provide optimal solutions for customer applications.


Key Responsibilities:
All responsibilities listed are essential functions of the position. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.

- Adhere to OSHA, industry standards, NACS-specific, and customer site-specific safety protocols.
- Operate strictly within the guidelines of NACS ISO14001 and 9001 policies.
- Manage quotes, establish project folders, estimate costs, create proposals, and project documentation for field services.
- Support both external and internal sales initiatives.
- Foster relationships with preferred vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Develop project schedules and plans.
- Maintain comprehensive project files and documentation.
- Oversee the supply and rental of equipment necessary for executing customer site work, ensuring timely deliveries and returns.
- Review project costs against initial budgets, manage change orders, and identify issues such as resource allocation, scheduling, and out-of-scope work. Generate billings accordingly.
- Create BOMs for procurement of materials and equipment.
- Conduct on-site evaluations of opportunities.
- Drive profitable sales growth and manage the company's offerings to designated customers.
- Represent the company and its offerings in a technical and professional manner.
- Propose products, systems, and services that require technical knowledge of engineering and/or service and cost.
- Demonstrate to potential customers how and why products and services meet their needs better than competitors.
- Suggest modifications in equipment or material usage that lead to cost savings or operational enhancements.
- Develop and report financial sales forecasts.

Qualifications:
- Proficient in reading drawings and developing BOMs for cost estimation.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, CAD, project management, quality management, supervision, delegation, and estimation.
- Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to lead and manage effectively, self-motivated with goal-setting skills.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a related field, or a combination of training and experience that provides the necessary skills, knowledge, and abilities.
- Preferred candidates will have knowledge of industrial processes and proficiency in sales methodologies.
- A bachelor's degree in engineering is highly desirable.
