Job Description Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Nutritionist to join our team at South Shore Health. As a key member of our ambulatory oncology team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing personalized nutrition care plans for patients with cancer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans for patients with cancer.
  • Provide medical nutrition therapy and counseling services to patients and their families.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Develop and implement educational programs for patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and evidence-based practices in oncology nutrition.

Requirements:

  • Baccalaureate degree with an ADA-approved emphasis in science/education.
  • Registered Dietitian with maintenance of required CEUs.
  • Approved Dietetic Internship or equivalent experience.
  • 3 years of experience in clinical, educational, and oncological dietetics.
