About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join our team on behalf of our clients. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting various systems within a facility, including water systems, HVAC, and process piping.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Perform daily and weekly walkdowns of water systems, recording information and identifying potential issues.
  • Conduct weekly visits to check settings and troubleshoot basic issues with HVAC, water systems, process piping, and other equipment.
  • Execute drawing updates, file uploads, document updates, and air balance sheet updates.
  • Assist with populating and maintaining a water system spreadsheet, leading to preventive maintenance activities.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for suppliers and assist with small trades jobs.
  • Monitor trades after scope development, communicate updates, and report back to engineering.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in a technical field, preferably in engineering (mechanical, chemical, etc.).
  • At least 23 years of experience performing similar duties and responsibilities.
  • Technical background in mechanical or electrical systems.
  • Experience with CAD software.

Bonus Points

  • Experience with Maximo or similar maintenance management software.
  • Knowledge of preventative maintenance procedures.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
