Job Title: Regional Nurse Consultant

Centers Health Care is seeking a highly skilled Regional Nurse Consultant to join our team. As a Regional Nurse Consultant, you will play a critical role in driving clinical outcomes and ensuring compliance with State and Federal regulations and standards of care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and evaluate clinical services in assigned facilities to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement clinical development opportunities and inform CHC and local facility leadership about clinical best practices.
  • Complete and submit visit reports and audit results to the Chief Nursing Officer or Director of Clinical Operations.
  • Act as a regional mentor and coach DONs for success at local facilities.
  • Schedule facility and regional visits based on facility issues and compliance needs.
  • Schedule regional training and professional development meetings for DONs on a quarterly basis.
  • Establish quarterly and annual performance improvement goals with local and regional clinical staff.
  • Promote CHC's core values, ethics, policies, and procedures, and standards of practice.
  • Ensure compliance with CHC policies, procedures, State and Federal regulations, and current standards of practice.
  • Provide assistance and support throughout the survey process, including preparation for survey, writing a plan of correction, and developing an action plan, and monitoring for compliance.
Requirements:
  • At least 3-5 years of experience as a Regional DON or Regional Nurse is required.
  • Candidate must possess a valid RN license.
  • Experience in a corporate or regional role is preferred.
  • Supervisory experience in healthcare settings is required.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills are essential.
  • Excellent knowledge of State and Federal guidelines is required.
  • Extensive travel is required.
  • Lives in Upstate, New York.
