In collaboration with other members of the management team, you will direct, monitor, and evaluate nursing care in accordance with established policies/procedures, serve as a resource person for staff, and model a commitment to the organization's vision/mission/values to support an unparalleled patient experience and clinical outcomes that contribute to overall departmental performance.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality, patient-centered care.
* Participate in the ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided in the unit, in collaboration with other members of the management team.
* Collaborate with subject matter experts and other managers to create an environment of teamwork that supports improved outcomes and service.
* Support a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary.
* Support the efforts of the facility to improve engagement by operationalizing current nursing strategies, including employee rounding, hourly rounds, and other initiatives.
**Requirements:**
* Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or current active multistate nursing licensure.
* Current BCLS through American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
* Bachelor Science Nursing or Bachelor's degree in health-related field required. Graduate of a certified school of nursing.
* Minimum of 2 years clinical RN experience preferred.
* Two years progressive supervisory or charge nurse experience preferred.
