About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Facilities Maintenance Assistant to join our team at New River Electrical Corporation. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of our campus facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain the building and grounds by performing janitorial and maintenance duties, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, light carpentry, and painting.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks as scheduled to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.
  • Conduct light HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry repairs and maintenance.
  • Assist with drywall repair and painting.
  • Record keeping of tasks and preventive maintenance.
  • Upkeep of landscaping and snow removal.
  • Order supplies related to building maintenance.
  • Coordinate with contractors working on property.
  • Assemble and move office furniture and other office materials.
  • Assist in coordinating with vendors/subcontractors as necessary.
Requirements
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Must have earned a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • General maintenance skills, mechanically inclined.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and keep records.
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
  • Flexibility to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
  • Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
Work Environment

This is a full-time position with a standard Monday to Friday schedule. The work location is on-site at our campus facilities.
