Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify medical issues
  • Accurately document patient data in our electronic medical records (EMR)
  • Measure and record vital signs and weight
  • Assist in executing physician directives, including lab requests and follow-up care
  • Perform sample collections and conduct routine lab tests
  • Coordinate scheduling for diagnostic procedures and surgeries
  • Prepare and administer prescribed treatments and medications
  • Oversee proper disposal of biohazardous materials
  • Facilitate communication between patients and healthcare providers
  • Provide support for clinical staff as necessary
  • Assist with administrative duties, including form completion and appointment scheduling
  • Participate in marketing initiatives to promote our practice (up to 10 hours weekly)
  • Acquire skills in phlebotomy procedures
  • Travel to various practice locations as needed
Qualifications:

To excel in this position, candidates must demonstrate the ability to perform all responsibilities effectively. Required qualifications include:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in the healthcare sector
  • Experience in Orthopedic care is preferred
  • Current RN License
  • Certification as a Medical Assistant or in a related field
  • CPR Certification (preferred but not mandatory)
