Become a Key Player in Our Team as a Behavior Support Technician

Centria Healthcare is on the lookout for committed individuals to join our team as Behavior Support Technicians. In this capacity, you will have the fulfilling opportunity to make a significant difference in the lives of children with autism.

Your responsibilities will include collaborating closely with children, executing tailored behavior intervention strategies under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You will apply evidence-based techniques to foster communication, social skills, and daily living abilities while effectively addressing challenging behaviors.

We seek candidates who are passionate about supporting children with autism in achieving their utmost potential. Ideal applicants will exhibit patience, empathy, and a strong capacity for teamwork. While comprehensive training will be provided, prior experience is not mandatory. This position involves working with children who may display unpredictable or confrontational behaviors, so candidates must demonstrate resilience and physical capability, including the ability to perform various physical tasks and lift up to 50 pounds.

Compensation: $19 - $24 per hour

Requirements:

  • Genuine enthusiasm for assisting children with autism
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team
  • Minimum age: 18 years
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Completion of CPR, First Aid Certification, and Tuberculosis screening
  • Successful completion of pre-employment background verification
  • Physical ability to move and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Achieve Registered Behavior Technician Certification after onboarding
