Job Title: On-Call Registered Nurse

Community LIFE is seeking a skilled and compassionate On-Call Registered Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our community care team, you will provide high-quality nursing care and support to older adults in their homes.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to work on an on-call basis, providing nursing care and support to our participants in the evenings and weekends. This is a full-time position, working every other week, with a competitive salary and benefits package.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide nursing care and support to older adults in their homes, including troubleshooting, advising, teaching, and coordinating care.
  • Evaluate participants for episodic illness after business hours, in collaboration with the Provider.
  • Document care provided and changes in participant's condition in a timely manner.
  • Provide nursing care and prescribed treatments, and demonstrate nursing care to participants and caregivers/families.
Requirements:
  • Graduated from an accredited nursing school.
  • Minimum of one year of experience working with a frail or elderly population, preferably in long term care, home care, or community health.
  • Experience in teaching patients and other healthcare workers is preferred.
  • Registered Nurse licensed in the state of Pennsylvania.
  • Possess a valid PA driver's license.
