Job SummaryThis is a remote ASL interpreter position that requires interpreting live on video for inbound calls. You will work with clients from various industries, including medical, financial, and government sectors.
Key Responsibilities- Interpret American Sign Language and English with accuracy and clarity
- Provide clear and concise renditions of spoken language
- Employ good customer service and communication skills
- Understand protocol and terminology in healthcare, government, and education
- Maintain a professional demeanor throughout the assignment
- National current (RID) certification
- Ability to comply with healthcare safety standards and protocols
- Excellent receptive and expressive sign-to-voice and voice-to-sign skills
- Excellent listening, retention, critical thinking, and self-monitoring skills
- Home access to the Internet
- State licenses held where required
- Paid hourly
- W2 vs 1099
- Paid weekly (every Friday)
- Kelly-sponsored Affordable Care Act health care coverage available for eligible employees
