Position Overview:
Astor & Sanders Corporation (Astor) is a distinguished provider of IT solutions, currently seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team.

This role is a full-time opportunity that requires on-site presence.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and assess computer networks and systems for security vulnerabilities, and investigate any security breaches or cyber incidents.
  • Perform regular system scans to detect potential weaknesses and security threats.
  • Document and report security incidents or breaches to the relevant teams and management.
  • Develop and enforce security protocols and procedures to safeguard systems and sensitive data.
  • Oversee and maintain security systems and tools, ensuring they are current and operational.
  • Analyze security logs and reports to identify potential threats and escalate issues as needed.
  • Provide insights and recommendations for enhancing security measures and processes.
  • Conduct security audits and assessments to determine the effectiveness of existing security controls.
  • Stay informed about the latest trends, vulnerabilities, and technologies in the security landscape.
  • Collaborate with various teams to implement security measures and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Assist in incident response and recovery efforts following security breaches.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a cybersecurity role or similar position.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related discipline.
  • Proficient understanding of network protocols and security practices.
  • Experience with vulnerability scanning tools, intrusion detection systems, and other cybersecurity technologies.
  • Knowledge of incident response and management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or Security+ are preferred.
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or GDPR.
  • Experience in incident response and handling.
  • Understanding of cloud security principles and best practices is advantageous.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with multiple priorities.
