Key Responsibilities- Medication Administration: Administer medications and treatments in a safe and organized manner, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and Sunrise Senior Living policies.
- Documentation: Accurately document medication administration, resident interactions, and any concerns or issues that arise.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Risk Management: Identify and report any potential safety risks or hazards, and take proactive steps to mitigate them.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident.
- LPN License: Current LPN license in good standing.
- Certifications: CPR and First Aid certifications, as well as any other certifications required by state or provincial regulations.
- Experience: Previous experience working with seniors, preferably in a long-term care setting.
- Skills: Strong clinical skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
