Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Surgical Technologist II to join our Labor and Delivery team at Cooper University Health Care.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the delivery of uncomplicated and high-risk pregnancies, as well as providing support to our obstetrical triage unit.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the operating room and labor delivery suite
- Provide support to the Registered Professional Nurse and/or physician during surgical procedures
- Participate in the care and management of patients in the labor and delivery unit
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A graduate degree in Surgical Technology from a nationally or regionally accredited program
- Current certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or equivalent
- At least 1 year of experience as a Surgical Technologist in a healthcare facility
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
