We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team as a Mobile Diagnostic Imaging Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing mobile diagnostic imaging procedures in a variety of settings and locations to support the diagnostic and treatment of disease and injuries.
Key Responsibilities- Travel to various locations to perform portable x-rays and EKG exams
- Follow company policies, procedures, and protocols while performing diagnostic imaging exams
- Collect and verify patient information and order documentation prior to procedures
- Prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging exams
- Operate portable radiologic equipment and determine exposure factors
- Demonstrate safe work practices and radiation safety principles
- Process and transmit images in a timely manner
- Complete records and reports according to standard protocols
- Meet state-specific and federal requirements to perform portable x-rays
- Valid state-issued driver's license and good driving record
- Ability to move or lift equipment up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work a varied schedule, including evenings, holidays, and weekends
