Position Summary

Tactical Air Support is actively seeking a seasoned Adversary Air (ADAIR) Flight Operations Site Manager to oversee operations under the USAF Combat Air Force (CAF) Contracted Air Support (CAS) contract. This role involves managing Tactical Air's F-5E/F Advanced Tiger (F-5AT) aircraft to deliver ADAIR services to various USAF fighter squadrons, groups, and wings nationwide. Successful candidates will undergo initial or transition training on Tactical Air's F-5AT prior to their assignment.

Tactical Air is committed to deploying advanced aircraft operated by highly skilled fighter and attack pilots to support training for Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, and Army units.

Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience, professionalism, and a disciplined approach, demonstrating responsiveness to both company and Department of Defense (DoD) requirements. Reporting to the Director of AF Programs, this position is responsible for the safe and effective operation of company-owned aircraft. Pilots may be assigned to operate various aircraft and must be prepared to travel as necessary to fulfill contract obligations. The successful candidate must be willing to travel for training and relocate as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Extensive flight experience with fighter, attack, or trainer aircraft, including:
    • At least 1000 hours of fighter, attack, or trainer time, with a minimum of 300 hours in fighter aircraft;
    • DoD flight lead qualification;
    • A minimum of 5 years of tactical recency.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Capability to manage multiple projects and maintain a comprehensive perspective.
  • Willingness to cross-train into other aircraft.
  • Regular travel to various work sites across the U.S. is mandatory.
  • Possession of a valid state driver's license.
  • U.S. Citizenship with a current DoD Secret security clearance or higher is required.

Preferred Experience/Skills

  • Graduation from a Weapon School or experience as a DoD Adversary.
  • Experience in Squadron, Group, or Wing Command roles.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally (with assistance if necessary).
  • Frequent use of hands and fingers for operating controls and tools; reaching with hands and arms.
  • Regularly ascending and descending stairs and/or ladders.

Work Environment and Authorization

  • Must be legally eligible to work in the United States and complete a U.S. government I-9 Form.
  • Tactical Air Support maintains a Drug & Alcohol-Free Workplace, requiring pre-employment and random drug/alcohol testing.
  • Pre-employment and ongoing physical certifications may be necessary.
  • Work may occur in an aircraft hangar or warehouse environment, with exposure to loud noises, engine fumes, and varying climate conditions.
  • Occasional exposure to hazardous materials may be required.
  • Specific work hours will be determined by operational and contractual needs.
  • Evening, weekend, holiday, and overtime work may be necessary.
