Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pool Concierge to join our team at the Century Plaza Hotel. As a Pool Concierge, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a clean and safe environment, and promoting our hotel's amenities and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests and provide personalized service, including taking and placing orders, preparing beverages, and delivering food and drink items.
  • Attend to guest's pool-related needs, including getting and replenishing fresh towels, relocating chairs and/or umbrellas, and selling retail items.
  • Respond to guest inquiries and service issues in a timely and friendly manner.
  • Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage and serve alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with federal, state, local, and company regulations.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year experience in food and beverage service.
  • Previous experience in a 5-star hotel environment with Forbes Training experience is highly valued, however it is not a requirement.
  • Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work cohesively and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • California RBS Certificate.
  • Food Handler's Card.
