We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team at Rail City Casino in Sparks, NV. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for producing high-quality food with precision and accuracy, while maintaining proper quality-assurance and food-safety procedures.
Responsibilities- Prepare and cook food to order, ensuring presentation and quality meet our standards
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations
- Work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, multitasking and prioritizing tasks as needed
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure seamless service and meet customer demands
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Line Cook or equivalent role
- Serve Safe Certification preferred, but not required
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and oral
- Basic mathematical skills to calculate portion sizes, measurements, and recipes
