We are currently seeking an intern for our Structural Services Division. This role is ideal for students eager to gain hands-on engineering experience through practical training. Our diverse structural projects encompass the design and three-dimensional modeling of various structural systems, including cast-in-place and precast concrete, structural steel, masonry, wood, and formed steel framing for a range of building types.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting fundamental calculations related to structural member capacity
  • Evaluating shop drawings and other submissions during the construction phase
  • Participating in project coordination meetings to gain insights into the design process
  • Making site visits to assess ongoing work against construction drawings

Qualifications:

To be considered for this internship, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Ability to address basic structural engineering challenges with sound decision-making skills
  • Proficiency in planning and accurately estimating the scope and complexity of tasks
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
