We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist PRN to join our team at HCA Florida Palms West Hospital. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will play a critical role in preparing and administering radioactive chemical compounds, known as radiopharmaceuticals, to patients undergoing diagnostic imaging procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients
- Perform patient imaging procedures using sophisticated radiation-detecting instrumentation
- Provide images, data analysis, and patient information to physicians for diagnostic interpretation
- Work with a diverse patient population, ranging from newborn to geriatric
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date
- State license in Nuclear Medicine
- Vocational school graduate
- Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB) or Registered Radiographer (ARRT)
