Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician III to join our team at Capital Vacations. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our resort facilities, amenities, and activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage the maintenance staff to ensure efficient and safe maintenance of the resort.
  • Perform complex repairs and maintenance tasks on physical property, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment, including pumps, motors, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical systems.
  • Implement maintenance plans and schedules to ensure timely completion of tasks and budgetary constraints.
  • Train and mentor maintenance staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Assist in assigning duties to maintenance staff and ensure all tasks are completed to a high standard.
  • Perform routine, preventative, and emergency maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment.
  • Complete work orders and daily projects reported by the front desk and assigned during shift.
  • Follow up on maintenance technicians' jobs to ensure quality of work.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Degree from a vocational school or BSc/BA in Facility Management preferred.
  • Three to five years of experience in supervisory-level resort maintenance.
  • Experience in building and facilities maintenance.
  • HVAC certification preferred.
  • Certified Pool Operator (CPO) or Aquatic Facility Operator (AFO) certification.
  • Hazardous material handling training within six months of hire date.
  • Valid Driver's License.
