Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Affordable Housing Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our 26-unit Affordable Living Community. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks, from responding to work order requests to performing routine maintenance and repairs on various building systems and equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the integrity and functionality of the building, grounds, and equipment to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
  • Respond promptly and efficiently to work order requests, addressing maintenance issues in a timely manner.
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance tasks to identify and address potential problems before they escalate.
  • Perform repairs and installations on various building systems, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliances.
  • Maintain accurate records of all work performed, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company procedures.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a maintenance technician in a residential or commercial setting.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems and repair techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
