Speech-Language Pathologist Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to work directly with students to provide speech and language therapy, conduct assessments, and develop individualized education programs (IEPs). Experience in a school setting is preferred, but Clinical Fellows (CF) are also welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEPs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student communication needs.
  • Provide therapy sessions in both individual and group settings.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student educational goals.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as an SLP.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred, but not required for CF applicants.
  • Prior experience in a school setting is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
