Key Responsibilities
The Registered Nurse will oversee the care of a designated group of patients, ensuring adherence to the established policies and philosophies of the division. Our nursing staff exemplifies a commitment to patient and family-centered care, collaborating effectively with all members of the healthcare team. Our nursing practice is rooted in the principles of teamwork, communication, coordination, integration, and empowerment.
Required Qualifications
Essential:
- Must possess a degree from an accredited nursing program and hold an active RN license in Georgia without restrictions.
- A minimum of two (2) years of full-time nursing experience following orientation or residency training.
- Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association is mandatory. Additional certifications (ACLS, NRP, PALS) may be required based on the specific clinical unit.
- Additional educational requirements, competencies, and certifications may be specified by the clinical unit.
- Other essential RN attributes will vary by unit; please refer to the specific clinical unit for details.
Preferred Qualifications
- A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
- National Certification in a Clinical Specialty is preferred.
