We are seeking a skilled ER Monitor Technician to join our team at Lakewood Ranch Medical Center. As a Monitor Tech, you will play a critical role in identifying cardiac rhythms and notifying nurses of changes in rhythm.

Responsibilities:
  • Monitor 41 rhythm channels in a central area
  • Facilitate nursing unit operations under the direction of the RN
  • Perform clerical and patient care activities
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
Requirements:
  • High school education or GED equivalent
  • Completion of an approved nursing assistant or unit secretary course
  • Previous experience as a Unit Secretary preferred
  • Rhythm Identification Course within 90 days of hire
  • Strip Identification Test within 30 days of hire
  • BLS certification
