Catering Staff

Join The ARC Los Angeles and Orange Counties team as a Catering Staff member and be part of our dynamic events team. As a Catering Staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the success of our catered events by providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and working collaboratively with our events team.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist the kitchen and service staff in maintaining the highest level of food quality, presentation, and timing to optimize guests' dining experience.
- Set up and break down chairs, tables, and buffet stations.
- Load and unload plates, silverware, and other service equipment.
- Serve courses, clear dishware, and ensure that guests' dining needs are taken care of.
- Keep serving stations restocked throughout the event.
- Clean large and small trays and tray stands to be ready for service.
- Maintain guest tables and serving stations according to client specifications and procedures.
- Assist other catering staff as needed to optimize guests' dining experience.
- Accomplish all job duties while adhering to all safety guidelines and practices throughout the shift.
- Report any unsafe conditions, unsafe acts, accidents, and/or injuries to the manager on duty.
- Correctly complete closing duties at the end of each event.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Planning and multi-tasking skills to provide a positive dining experience.
- Self-motivated with a high energy level.
- Ability to follow directions and pay attention to detail.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Experience with hospitality or kitchen-related duties.
- Front of the house and back of the house experience preferred.
- Current food handlers' certificate or ability to obtain within 3 months of employment.
On call as needed for catered events.
