The Aerospace Quality Assurance Inspector plays a crucial role in ensuring the integrity of products within the aerospace manufacturing sector, adhering to the AS9100 quality management system. This position involves the continuous inspection of components throughout the production process, including the execution of First Article and Final Inspections. Proficiency in utilizing Calipers and Micrometers is essential, while experience with CMM and CAD systems is considered advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct First Article and Final Inspections to guarantee compliance with quality standards.
- Utilize Calipers and Micrometers for precise measurements.
- Maintain accurate records of measurement results on Router and AS9102 reports.
- Approve incoming materials, monitor in-process production, and assess finished products to uphold quality benchmarks.
Essential Skills
Hard Skills:
- Familiarity with aerospace manufacturing environments and AS9100 quality systems.
- Experience in performing First Article and Final Inspections.
- Proficient in the use of Calipers and Micrometers.
- Background in CMM and CAD is a plus.
Soft Skills:

Job Type
This position is classified as Contract-to-Hire, with a duration of 520 hours.
Work Environment
This role is performed on-site in a machine shop setting, where proper personal protective equipment (PPE) is required. The environment may be loud and dusty in certain areas.
