Healthcare Support Specialist

We are looking for a dedicated Healthcare Support Specialist to join our team at Sunflower Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine:
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Preparing examination rooms and ensuring they are ready for patient visits
- Measuring vital signs and updating patient medical records
- Assisting patients throughout their visit
- Providing support to physicians and nurse practitioners
- Managing phone triage, processing prescriptions, and handling electronic clinical communications
- Performing additional tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Access to reliable transportation for occasional travel between facilities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited medical assistant training program
- Minimum of one year of experience in a medical assistant role
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
Work Schedule:
Monday to Thursday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, and Friday from 8:00 am to approximately 3:00 pm.
