Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team at Boyd Company. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for assembling, fabricating, building, modifying, and adjusting a variety of mechanical units and subassemblies with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Assemble mechanical units and subassemblies requiring detailed assembly knowledge and mechanical skill, ensuring precise positioning and connection of parts and mechanisms.
  2. Set up and operate various equipment, including saws, drill presses, deburring equipment, tube benders, glass beaders, EDM machine, degreasers, pressure test equipment, assembly fixtures, and hand tools.
  3. Work from blueprints, sketches, written, and verbal instructions to complete tasks efficiently.
  4. Inspect produced parts carefully during setup and throughout the assembly process, making adjustments and performing maintenance as needed.
  5. Perform work in other cells and related duties as directed, and instruct and lead less experienced assemblers in correct procedures.
  6. Maintain a clean work area and adhere to all Boyd Company safety rules.
