We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team at Boyd Company. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for assembling, fabricating, building, modifying, and adjusting a variety of mechanical units and subassemblies with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities- Assemble mechanical units and subassemblies requiring detailed assembly knowledge and mechanical skill, ensuring precise positioning and connection of parts and mechanisms.
- Set up and operate various equipment, including saws, drill presses, deburring equipment, tube benders, glass beaders, EDM machine, degreasers, pressure test equipment, assembly fixtures, and hand tools.
- Work from blueprints, sketches, written, and verbal instructions to complete tasks efficiently.
- Inspect produced parts carefully during setup and throughout the assembly process, making adjustments and performing maintenance as needed.
- Perform work in other cells and related duties as directed, and instruct and lead less experienced assemblers in correct procedures.
- Maintain a clean work area and adhere to all Boyd Company safety rules.
This role requires a high level of mechanical skill, attention to detail, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision. If you are a motivated and organized individual with a passion for assembly and manufacturing, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
