Healthcare Specialist - Infection Control

VitalCore Health Strategies, a leading provider of correctional healthcare solutions, seeks a highly skilled Healthcare Specialist - Infection Control to join our team at the Delaware Regional Office in Dover, DE.

This role is responsible for developing and implementing an effective infection prevention and control program. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of epidemiology, surveillance, data collection, and analysis principles.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering training seminars and exercises, as well as possessing a working knowledge of nursing practice and theory. Excellent written and oral communication skills, leadership abilities, creativity, time management skills, and extensive experience in leadership roles are essential for this position.

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess a current DE nursing license or compact nursing license, a minimum of five years of clinical/healthcare experience, and a minimum of two years of experience in Infection Control. Additionally, certification in Infection Control (CIC) should be achieved within six months of employment.
