**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate CNA I- Unit Secretary to join our team at Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center. This role is responsible for providing exceptional patient care, supporting the nursing staff, and maintaining accurate medical records.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Coordinates assigned unit activities, ensuring seamless communication among team members.
  • Manages patient records, assembling and filing information in a timely manner.
  • Processes physician orders, transcribing accurately and flagging charts as needed.
  • Coordinates safe patient transport and maintains a safe environment, adhering to NLH policies and procedures.
  • Maintains professional growth by developing learning needs and skills.

**Requirements:**

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or related field (not required).
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

**Working Conditions:**

  • Lifting and moving up to 50 pounds.
  • Alternate shift schedules, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends.

**Estimated Salary:** $45,000 - $55,000 per annum, depending on experience.
